Senior Back End PHP Developer

Business-class company is one of the leading luxury travel companies and a top-rated partner of Kayak, Skyscanner. Our RnD team builds a unique technology that automates the most advanced flight ticket search and booking process. And we are looking for a Senior Back-End Php developer to extend our RnD team.

Tech stack: PHP7.4-8.0, DDD, MongoDB, Docker, Elasticsearch, microservices, high-load, Yii2 only as an infrastructure layer. We are switching to our microframework using PSR7, 17+RoadRunner.

We are interested in candidates who not only stick to using some frameworks like Symphony or Yii but rather are capable of building independent microservice multilayer architecture.

Requirements:

• 5+ years (preferred) of experience with all aspects of back-end development including PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, MongoDB,
• Strong knowledge of basic principles of software development
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of writing unit/functional and acceptance tests
• Experience with the standard LEMP stack
• Experience with Object-Oriented PHP (>= 7.4)
• Practical experience writing, and debugging, queries in MySQL/MongoDB
• Practical understanding of content management systems
• Experience with source control systems such as GIT
• Experience with Docker

Nice to have:

• Ability and willingness to dive into code written by others to figure things out
• Practical experience and understanding of DDD methodology;
